Princess Hannah is a Luxury traditional Dahabiya. These are true sailboats with no engine on board. These river-going sailboats were common in Egypt in the days of the monarchy (1920’s-40’s) when aristocrats and sophisticated travelers loved to cruise The Nile in style.

This luxury sailboat with Egyptian charm includes: 6 luxury double en-suite cabins with large windows for your own beautiful private views as you gently sail by and 1 large Suite complete with its own terrace. Elegantly furnished, complete with air-conditioning and all modern comforts and conveniences.

The Dahabiya Hannah offers all-inclusive meals and Non-alcoholic drinks . Guided private tours with an experienced Egyptologist are provided to transport you to the historic times of the Great Pharos.

These are true sailboats. Our traditional two-masted Dahabiya Boats have no engines, with two large sails powered by the wind only. Delight in the sound of the breeze catching the sail and the lapping of the water as you journey along the majestic River Nile and immerse yourself in the spirituality of the ancient monuments.

There are six beautifully appointed and spacious cabins.

Elegantly furnished with 3 large windows for breathtaking views. All equipped with a private bathroom with hot shower, air conditioning, electrical sockets and wifi.

EN suites Cabin

built on traditional Dahabiya style with the enormous appeal of each cabin having private en-suite. Fully tiled en-suites all have hot shower, toilet and hand basin. All our cabins can be arranged with King Size bed or 2 single beds as your preference. Luxury Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels will ensure your comfort. Enjoy relaxing on the bed while watching the Nile glide by with the breeze on your face from your cabin window.

Traditional Craftmanship

Dahibeya has been restored by local Egyptian Craftsmen to the specifications of the original Dahibeya used in the past. Their fine workmanship can be appreciated throughout the boat as we lead you from the corridor off which you enter both the cabins and the suites and into the lower deck saloon and dining area

With 3 large windows, take some time out to relax below deck. Our spacious private lounging area is yours to enjoy at your leisure. A large table can be used for dining, evening card games or to utilise as you wish.

Lower Deck Area

As you emerge from your beautiful sleeping and Private Quarters, behold the full spectacle of the glorious Nile as it stretches in front of you in an unrivalled view from the Bow of the boat. Take a seat and enjoy a cold drink or fresh coffee from the most forward point of the Dahibeya when sailing.

Upper Sun deck

Elevate your view as you ascend the ornate double staircase to the large open upper deck.

Enjoy 360’ panoramic views from the boats Hull which has been transformed into a spacious and comfortable sun deck. A luxurious way to enjoy the very best that Egypt has to offer.

The upper deck has a relaxation area with sofas and a bar to cool off. All meals are prepared on board and served on deck under the canopy.

All meals are freshly prepared in the Dahibeyas fully equipped professional galley kitchen.All ingredients are locally sourced and delivered fresh daily.
